How to play Dofus Touch on your computer

DofEmu lets you run Dofus Touch on a desktop or laptop without an Android emulator. Below is the install procedure for each supported platform. The whole process takes about a minute.

Before you start

You need an existing Ankama account that already plays Dofus Touch on mobile, and a computer running Windows 10/11, macOS 12+, or a recent Linux distribution. No mobile device is required after the first login.

Install on Windows

  1. Download the latest DofEmu-Setup-x.y.z.exe from the homepage download button or the GitHub Releases page.
  2. Run the installer. Windows SmartScreen may warn about an unrecognized publisher — click "More info" then "Run anyway". The installer is signed by the project, but Windows takes time to recognize new publishers.
  3. Launch DofEmu from the Start menu and sign in with your Ankama credentials.

Install on macOS

  1. Download the matching DofEmu-x.y.z.dmg for your Mac (Apple Silicon or Intel).
  2. Open the DMG and drag DofEmu to the Applications folder.
  3. On first launch, macOS Gatekeeper may block the app. Right-click the icon, choose "Open", then confirm. Alternatively run xattr -cr /Applications/DofEmu.app in Terminal.

Install on Linux

  1. Download the DofEmu-x.y.z.AppImage from the homepage.
  2. Make it executable: chmod +x DofEmu-*.AppImage
  3. Run it: ./DofEmu-*.AppImage. AppImageLauncher (optional) integrates it into your application menu.

First launch

On first launch, DofEmu opens a window containing the Dofus Touch web client. Sign in with your Ankama login and pick your server as you would on the phone. Your account, characters, and progression are exactly the same — DofEmu is a window onto the official client, not a separate game.
